Application Procedures

1. Complete the Online Application Form

2. Complete School/Grade-Specific Required Documentation

Please refer to the grade-specific checklists for all required forms and documents.

(Documentation must be submitted after January 6, 2026. No documents will be accepted before this date.)

• Birth Certificate
  Original or certified copy to be verified at St. Veronica Catholic School.

• Release of Records
  Required for Kindergarten and Grades 1–8 applicants who have attended a previous school or program.

• Kindergarten Applicants:

  • Scholastic Information Form

• Grades 1–8 Applicants:

  • Evaluation Narrative

• Baptismal Certificate
  Original or certified copy to be verified at St. Veronica Catholic School (if applying as a Catholic student).

• Letter of Good Standing from current parish

• International Student Documentation
  Must be submitted according to Diocesan Guidelines.

• Custody or Court Documents (if applicable)
  Upload these documents with the application.

• Commonwealth of Virginia School Entrance Health Form
  The most recent form must be submitted to the school by August 1, 2026.

3. Meet With the School

All applicants, Preschool–Grade 8, are invited to request a tour and meet with the administration team prior to acceptance.

4. Pay the Non-Refundable Application Fee

Payment begins January 6, 2026.

Application Procedures

All supporting documentation must be submitted after January 6, 2026.

1. Complete School-Specific Required Documentation

• Birth Certificate
  An original or certified copy must be presented for verification at St. Veronica Catholic School.

• Parent/Guardian Questionnaire & Preschool Teacher/Provider Evaluation
  Any documents coming from a current or previous school must be sent directly from school to school—not through parents—to the Director of Admissions.

• Baptismal Certificate
  An original or certified copy is required for students applying as Catholic.

• Letter of Good Standing
  Required from your current parish if not a member of St. Veronica Catholic Church.

• Custody or Court Documents (if applicable)
  Upload these documents with the online application.

• Commonwealth of Virginia School Entrance Health Form
  The most recent form must be submitted to the school by August 1, 2026.

• Preschool Applicant Meeting
  Prospective preschool families are asked to meet with the Preschool Director, Mrs. Smith, as part of the admissions process.

• Application Fee
  A non-refundable fee must be paid per application by check.

Additional Notes for Preschool Applicants

• Children applying for the 3-year-old program must be 3 years old by September 30th.
  No exceptions.

• Children applying for the 4-year-old program must be 4 years old by September 30th.
  No exceptions.

• All preschool students must be fully bathroom independent before attending school.

• St. Veronica Catholic School may require a readiness screening for all incoming Preschool 4 students. Additional readiness or academic assessments may be required at any grade level.

• Priority consideration is given to registered St. Veronica Catholic Church families and to siblings of currently enrolled students.

• St. Veronica Catholic School does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, or ethnicity.

Additional Notes for Kindergarten Applicants

• Children applying for Kindergarten must be 5 years old by September 30 of the year of entry.
  No exceptions.

• St. Veronica Catholic School may require:

  • Readiness screening for all incoming students.

  • Math placement screening for all incoming Middle School students.

  • Additional readiness or assessment testing for any grade level as needed.

• Priority consideration is given to registered St. Veronica Catholic Church families and to siblings of currently enrolled students.

• I-20 Issuance
  Coordinated with St. Veronica Catholic School and the Office of Catholic Schools.

• Fees
  All applicable fees must be paid prior to I-20 issuance.

• PVC Hour Buyout Payment
  Required upon acceptance of the international student.

• Readiness & Placement Screening
  St. Veronica Catholic School requires:

  • Readiness screening for all incoming international students.

  • Math placement screenings.

  • Additional readiness or assessment testing may be required at any grade level.

• Priority Consideration
  Given to registered St. Veronica Catholic Church families and to siblings of students already enrolled in the school.
