Dear St.
Veronica School Families:
Welcome to the start of our fifth year! It
hardly seems possible that the first St.
Veronica families walked through our doors
five years ago. I am mindful of the hard
work and dedication it took to open the
school and begin this wonderful journey of
faith and education!
The school
has grown from an initial enrollment of a
little over 50 students to well over 300
this year. Catholic schools have a long and
wonderful history in the United States and
are an integral aspect of the Church’s
mission of evangelization. Father Hathaway,
Father Holmes, the faculty, and I are
dedicated to bringing a faith infused
educational experience to all our school
families, always remembering to keep the
“Master Teacher” as our guide.
The
school continues to add new programs to meet
the needs of our families. This year marks
the inauguration of our hot lunch and after
school programs. We also continue to add to
the educational experience of our students
through the introduction of enhanced
technology. The PTO generously purchased
four ActivBoards over the summer! This
added technology broadens the learning
environment and is a pretty exciting way to
bring outside learning opportunities to our
students!
The
theme for our year calls us to “Celebrate
Service”. The school community will have
many opportunities this year to reach out to
our local community through quarterly
service projects. In addition, the school
will hold several canned food drives, which
will benefit local food banks.
This November the school will undergo our
accreditation. We are excited by this
prospect and are working diligently on our
“Design for Excellence” document. I am
confident our visiting team will find St.
Veronica to be the excellent school I know
it is!
Thank you for choosing St. Veronica Catholic
School. Please know that my door is always
open and I am looking forward to an exciting
year!
Sincerely
Yours in Christ –
Mrs. Mary
