Library Policies
*Grades
K - 4
may
borrow one book each. Grades 5 - 8 may
borrow two books each. The books are due
after one week for K-2 and two weeks for grades
3 - 8.
There are
no overdue fines for late books.
However, children may not borrow any new library
materials until the overdue items are returned.
Accidents
do happen...but lost or damaged items
must be paid for before the student may borrow
more library materials.
The
library is a quiet place to enable
students to enjoy listening to stories, browse
and make book selections and research a topic of
interest. Therefore one person talks at a
time during class discussions and quiet voices
are used while searching for books.
Books are
treasures and need to be handled with respect
and clean hands. They should also be kept
in a safe, dry place.
